Limestone Paving 900 x 600 Key Characteristics
- Proven Outdoor Durability: Suitable for patios, paths, and regularly used garden areas when installed on a correct sub-base.
- Natural Limestone Character: Subtle tonal variation and riven texture reflect traditional stone paving used across the UK.
- Large-Format Appearance: The 900 x 600 format reduces joint frequency, creating a more open and structured layout.
- Sawn Edges: Machine-cut edges allow tighter jointing compared with hand-cut paving, delivering a cleaner finish.
- Riven Texture: A softer split surface with natural relief, offering visual depth and tactile grip.
- Slip Resistance: The riven surface provides reliable traction in wet conditions.
- Routine Maintenance: Simple care through sweeping and occasional water washing.
- Important: Acid-based cleaners must not be used on limestone, as acids will permanently etch and damage the surface.
UK pallet networks apply standard rates for pallet weights under 1000 kg. For Indian limestone paving in the 900 x 600 x 20–22 mm range, a loading of 30–31 slabs per pallet is considered optimal based on long-established industry practice. Overpacking increases pallet weight and may require reduced slab thickness to remain within delivery limits, potentially affecting product consistency.
