Thank you for placing an order for a stone cladding sample.
Before we dispatch your sample, we kindly ask you to confirm that you understand and accept the following Stone Cladding Sample Policy.
Stone Cladding Sample Policy
- Samples are shipped via ParcelForce economy parcel service.
- Samples are packed in the original cardboard box only, without any reinforced packaging, as customers generally do not accept high delivery costs for samples.
- Rough handling during parcel delivery is possible and beyond our control.
- Samples are supplied to assess stone colour and surface texture only; backing detachment may occur.
- All samples (one box containing 4 panels, approx. 30 kg) are non-replacement, non-returnable and non-refundable. The charge covers material cost, courier cost, and handling costs only.
- All future official stone cladding orders are delivered via Palletways using professional stone pallet transport. The risk of damage during pallet delivery is extremely low.
If customers are mainly interested in viewing the stone material including colour, tone and surface texture rather than the backing condition, samples are suitable for this purpose. Please note that some pieces detachment from the backing may occur during parcel delivery. Stone cladding products with similar colours and structures available in the UK are very often produced by sister factories located near our parent company's quarry area, regardless of the retailer.
As sample boxes are not reinforced for rough parcel handling, stone pieces detachment should not be a cause for concern. We fully acknowledge that sending stone cladding samples via ParcelForce is not a professional solution for natural stone products. In the past, in order to protect our reputation and avoid any misunderstanding, we did not offer stone cladding samples at all.
However, we have increasingly found that many customers wish to see the natural stone colour, tone and surface texture in person before placing an official order, and are fully aware that stone pieces may detachment during sample unprofessional parcel delivery is possible. For these customers, visual assessment of the stone cladding itself is more important than the condition of the backing.
If you agree to the above policy, please confirm acceptance by email and we will proceed with dispatch of the sample order.
If you do not agree, please inform us within 48 hours. Otherwise, your sample order will then be cancelled and fully refunded.
