In the global natural stone industry, minor glue exposure is considered an acceptable trade-off for the structural longevity of the product. Requiring a completely glue-free finish would necessitate discarding vast amounts of natural material, which is neither sustainable nor practical for large-scale production.

Once the split face tiles and stone cladding are installed on a feature wall or façade, any minor residue becomes virtually invisible from a standard viewing distance, blending into the natural shadows and rugged textures of the stone.
