Technical Installation Standards

The Slurry Primer Requirement: Due to granite’s low porosity, all slabs must be coated with a polymer-modified slurry primer on the reverse side before laying on a full mortar bed. This creates the essential chemical bond between the stone and the bedding layer, preventing slab failure and "rocking" in UK freeze-thaw cycles.
